Why it is called RELATIONSHIP marketing
Time was, I thought that MLM as it was then called, was a marvelous business model. Then along came the heavy hitters, the so-called rhinos and gorillas; never-take-no-for-an-answer; never LISTEN to the other person’s words. They spoiled it for everybody.
MLM now has a reputation that sucks. It’s a pity. Because we do need something like it in the modern world, where working from home is the way to go. As world economics get scarier, everybody needs some kind of work security, something you control yourself.
The answer is in the conduct of those graceful and honorable individuals, who do this the right way and for the right reasons. By example they are transforming the picture of how network marketing, MLM, whatever you want to call it, is perceived.
It’s not about what others can do for you. It’s about what you can do for others. As soon as you sign up, you are not the issue any more. Forget all that motivational B*S* about being unstoppable, running over everybody like a tank, grabbing what YOU want.
The way to do this is find out what others want–and then help them to get it. If you do that with enough people, you’ll get what you want WITHOUT gaining a reputation as a complete jerk.
Trust me, love and caring does work. Ghenkis Khan tactics don’t. They just alienate everybody and ultimately nobody will want your business model. Can you see that?
That’s why we call it relationship marketing. You build relationships, learn from your group, find out what they want and how to make it work FOR THEM.
